Team India started the New Year on a triumphant note by beating Sri Lanka in both T20I and ODI matches. After defeating Sri Lanka in the fifty-over format, India will be looking to keep up its winning record against New Zealand in white-ball cricket. India and New Zealand will compete against one another in three ODIs and three T20Is. Beginning on January 18, New Zealand will embark on a tour of India.
In the T20I series against New Zealand, India will be captained by Hardik Pandya. For the ODIs against New Zealand, Team India's captain will be Rohit Sharma.
